Yesterday wasn't such a great day at the park...Set up the jewelry and keychains to sell, but didn't do well at all. Met a lot of interesting people. The author of the books that set up a table next to me wasn't having any luck either. I think it's the wrong venue for something like this. I should have better luck on Etsy.
The Pappies and I were on the beach at 6:15 a.m. What a great morning. Wonderful breeze, low tide and hardly anyone on the beach - I did notice a blanket up on the beach with what looked like two sets of feet sticking out. Yikes...what are people thinking? You never know what you'll stumble upon. I'm glad I stayed down by the shoreline. It was a pretty good day for seaglass. We walked past Fort Story Beach and found quite a number of large pieces of glass. I think I'll try painting or etching sayings into some of the larger pieces. They would make great paperweights. The pappies were anxious to be let off leashes. They ran and chased one another to their hearts content. It's fun to watch.
All in all, I found about 100 pieces of glass. Not bad for summertime when the pickings are low.
Sorry the sale didn't go so well... but I think you're right. Etsy is a great place for stuff like that... and I love my necklace... I think you'll do well. :)
