Overdue

Overdue was the operative word in our family this week. But, yeah....my niece had her baby this morning. A gorgeous, healthy, baby boy...Welcome to the family, Josiah Michael. We are so excited that you are finally here.

I'm overdue in posting on this blog, but here's what has been happening with seaglass hunts. I have been this past week (not much glass to find) ---- BUT, the good news is that I will be setting up a table and selling my seaglass jewelry next Saturday, July 25th from 1pm to 5pm at First Landing State Park. I hope to have over 100 pieces on display. Went to the gem show this past weekend with Celia & Dona - Had a great time. Thank you Celia for inviting me along. The lunch was fabulous and the company even better. And, Yes...came home and thought about all those beads and how nice it would look to incorporate them into the seaglass designs. I hope to go back in October.... I learned a lot from the show and was able to copy an interesting design for charms.....

Last week the walks produced a few nice pieces for making jewelry. Found cobalt blue each day. The papillons had a great time running up and down the beach (yep, I let them off the leashes and told them to "have at it" ----

Here are pictures of the jewelry and some of my seaglass finds. Enjoy.....Hope to see you at First Landing next Saturday...
